Design Cost of Famous Logos

by mikonmark on August 9, 2012

Last week I railed on the outlandish design cost for the 2012 London Olympic Logo. Yesterday posted an article with the cost of 14 of some of the most iconic logos and some not so iconic. Click here to go to the article.

I thought the London Olympic Logo was pricey, but BP spent an astonishing $211,000,000 on their green and yellow sunburst logo! ¬†Accenture spent $100,000,000. That is nuts. What are the CEO’s of these companies thinking?

Compare that to Nike. They spent $35. Twitter $15. Google $0. Sergey Brin one of Google’s founders designed it on Gimp, an open source graphics software.
